Nearly every industry today uses professional development programs to keep their professional workforce up to speed on the latest changes in the industry.
From January 1st 2017 all AIMS members are required to provide evidence of their professional development activities on an annual basis. Throughout each year AIMS conducts a range of professional development programs and information sessions that deal specifically with marine surveying practices, legislation and new reforms that will impact on marine surveyors. Keep an eye out on our event calendar on the home page.
Professional development programs, whether in a classroom situation or at conferences with expert speakers, is a great way to stay competitive in an ever-changing professional landscape.
Most courses are offered via distance learning or online however half day workshops will be scheduled regularly throughout 2017.
